[style=font: 30pt lekton; color: #96abb7; text-align: center;]BASIC RULES
above all else, members of 11:11 are expected to be respectful of others and mindful of their setting. the site is pg13, meaning minor swearing is acceptable both ooc and ic, as well as minor violence ic, but please respect others who might not want to see that sort of thing. cursing every other word or bothering other members ooc is pushing it. members, if you feel harassed or offended in any way, please bring it to the attention of a staff member and we'll help you out with whatever's bothering you.
plagiarism is another massive issue to be addressed directly. with canons especially, it's even easier to take ideas from others, but even that has limits. for example, copying character traits from bulbapedia or the like is unacceptable, and if the staff sees these things happen, you will be asked to rewrite the copied content yourself. the point of role playing is to create your own work, not steal others'. this applies to all characters, templates, graphics, etc. seen on the site. just don't do it. period.
11:11's minimum word count is 300. we are a literate site, and really, 300 is not all that much. we understand that it can be harder to write battles, however; in a solo mod thread (aka your character and a mod only), this count is 200. if you really can't meet that requirement, well... this probably isn't the place for you, sorry to say. though we'd love to see you practice more and return to the site again when you're able to write more.
when registering for the site, please use your alias as the username. for example, your first account might be john1. after registering, you may then change your display name to your character's first name only in all caps. keep in mind that you cannot have a canon as your first character unless you've cleared it with tokyo first! there is no character limit currently, but if people abuse this, one will be imposed. also keep in mind that 11:11 is game-based!
when creating threads in character, please use only the format: location, tagged
for example: pallet town, red & green
it makes the board look so much neater.[/style]
